Arrogant judge Stefan Mortensen suffers a near-fatal stroke that leaves him partially paralyzed and confined to a nursing home. Despite the staff’s resistance and estrangement from his friendly roommate, Mortensen soon encounters a kindly houseguest, Dave Crealy, who secretly terrorizes the house with a sadistic game called “The Jenny Pen Rule.” when he uses his demented doll as an instrument of cruelty. What begins as childish torment quickly escalates into much darker and more disturbing episodes.
