Muriel and her husband Lee are about to start a bright new life, which is turned upside down by the arrival of Lee’s brother. Muriel begins a secret life playing with racehorses and discovering a love she never thought possible. The film’s first promotional stills gave the false impression that the story might revolve around the romance between Muriel (Daisy Edgar Jones) and Julius (Jacob) Elordi. .
