A family of Montana ranchers come into conflict with others encroaching on their land, Forrie J. Smith, who plays Lloyd, is an expert in the world of rodeo. John Dutton (Kevin Costner) often seems to “forget” his Montana accent and revert to his usual Southern California speaking voice. I don’t think anyone does westerns better than Kevin Costner, and since Taylor Sheridan wrote the script, it’s a win for moviegoers. Check out “Wind River” for an example of what Taylor Sheridan can do. Where did Cole Hauser hide? It’s incredible. The daughter is a necessary part, I guess, but she’s too much of a pig. The scenery is amazing and being from Colorado I can really appreciate the vast and beautiful landscape. Do yourself a favor and get excited for this series because it’s going to be a hit.
